I am very pleased to announce that the Your SEO Consultant website has been launched.
This website was created so that Social Web Tactics can have a very specific portal to discuss search engine optimization and marketing, as well as customer audiences and content / communication.
As you take a look at the site (click on the link above or the image to your right), you will notice that there is still quite a bit of content that needs to be added.
Every website needs a starting point.
Over the next several days, new content will be added.
Here is the plan:
- Publish primers on “basic SEO” topics. What does that mean? Specifically, these pages will answer some of the most common questions people have about search engine optimization and SEO consultants. They will be well-researched, and the goal is to provide people who want to have a better understanding about SEO easy-to-read information.
- SEO by industry. This section will focus on how SEOs optimize websites and content for a target audience depending on the industry they are in. Marketing professionals in education, for example, will want more specific context around their industry just as people in service industries or government contracting.
- Location-based SEO. This is especially relevant for people who are trying to reach very local audiences, or international audiences.
- Updates on algorithm changes from Google that could impact how websites appear in search engine results. And…
- Summaries of what other SEOs are talking about as far as trends and statistics.
There will be more information over time, including videos and interviews.
If you can think of anything you want covered, please let us know. While much of the initial content will be introductory, there also will be more complex topics, as well as thoughts about customer profiles / personas, content marketing, and generating social media signals.
