What Have I Been Doing?

I strive to not just build castles in the air, but the foundations under them.

The above is an adaptation of a famous quote from Henry David Thoreau. People who know me recognize that I love creative thinking and the unlimited potential we have to achieve due to our advances in technology. However, I also know that we cannot realize the great castles in the sky or in our minds without building the foundations that will support them.

My greatest skill is in identifying the complex interrelationships that exist between ideas and people. I thrive in understanding how things work and finding ways to make improvements. I am inventive, innovative and a person who takes action to get the ideas turned into reality. I can visualize how things connect and think of ways to build better organizations, create more effective ways at listening and communicating, enhance productivity and get results.

Additional strong skills include: writing and messaging, competitor and market research, website architecture and navigation, and understanding how people search for information.

Below is a portfolio of some of my work. I also have a link to my resume and professional achievements here.

If you are interested in talking about your business or agency or organization, about marketing or technology, reach out to me. I am not here to sell you on a coaching program or some elaborate series of courses or a program... I am here to listen and help in any way possible. If you prefer there is a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before we chat - just let me know.

Life After Coronavirus: Our Future After the Great Disruption

What will our new normal be after we emerge from the Great Disruption caused by the coronavirus?

With any major event, there will be aspects of our lives that will change. Some of these changes will be permanent, while others will be short-term. There also will be aspects of our lives that will return to what we remember. The question on everyone's mind is: how will our future look?

In this analysis, Michael Hackmer will provide some insights in what we may be able to expect in the months and years ahead. And how people, especially entrepreneurs and business leaders, can best adapt to the new trends.

A brief, preliminary conversation does not cost anything. I will provide a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for more detailed conversations. But let's at least get the conversation started. Waiting is always more costly.
